Victor Rallo


Vic opened his first restaurant with his father at the age of 21 in point pleasant, NJ. At that time he was also attending law school at Seton Hall where he received his JD. From there he opened Basil T’s, which is now the wildly successful BIRRAVINO in Red Bank, NJ. In the years that followed he opened both the critically acclaimed Undici Taverna Rustica and Pastavino, NY. 

In 2019, he became partner in ESCA, where he and Chef David Pasterneck share their passion for seafood, wine, and fine Italian cuisine with the world. His passion for Italian food and wine landed him on television on his ongoing series, On the Road with Vic Rallo. Vic has authored two books, Napoleon Wasn’t Exiled, and 21 Wines. 

Today, Vic works day to day in the restaurants, curates all wine lists with his team, and hosts 50+ wine events per year while teaching on wine and food.
